Perryn Rowland
Senior Health Educator

Perryn Rowland has worked in health education and with young people for 25 years. At the Coalition, she teaches Teen Talk, Plain Talk and helps facilitate the Teen Parent Panel. She also designed and taught a Puberty Education curriculum in East Palo Alto. Perryn has attended hundreds of births as a certified doula and childbirth educator and has worked at Planned
Parenthood, Kaiser Permanente, Blossom Birth Services and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. She graduated from Wesleyan University and attended La Universidad Catolica de Lima, Peru. Perryn particularly enjoys teaching Spanish-speaking youth and their parents. She has a wonderfully supportive husband and three very patient sons.
